It is time again for our annual general meeting. This is your opportunity to run for office and to elect the club’s committee members for the next year.

It is also a chance for everyone to review the club finances and give their opinion on what the club should be doing over the next year - do you want more social activities?
Specific speakers? Where do you want to go for our annual field trip? The AGM is the time to speak up about these issues.

We’ve got a treat of a venue this year. A full lunch buffet, with both veggie and non-veggie delights, will be provided at the brand new Palais de Chine hotel, which is conveniently located just across from Taipei Main station. We’re among the first groups to have a look at this new hotel, which opens this month. There will be plenty of good food at a swanky location so if nothing else, it’ll be a good afternoon hanging out with your fellow club members.

HOWEVER, if you haven’t done so already, you’ll need to pay dues for 2010. The Club charter says only fully paid up members can vote or run for office (or to enjoy the buffet). You can do so by bringing cash with you to the AGM or by money transfer to:
